She, Me, Her

Thanks for stopping by! I’ve never done a blog post before, so here goes, lol! The plan is to post on a variety of topics- book publishing, dream chasing, travel, relaxation, fun, etc. Occasionally I’ll throw in some tongue-in-cheek posts from my alter ego Her Ladyship, AKA The Lady of the Condo, and updates on The Most Noble House of Panda Rose. My newsletter is an extension of my blog, but with additional insights, fun, and exclusive deals on my books.

That’s great and all, but who is the person behind the posts? I guess I should start by introducing myself????? I’m an author, playwright and independent book publisher looking to increase diversity in books and plays by creating stories featuring African-American characters. I quit my 24-7 legal career in February 2023 to focus on my dream of starting a publishing house to publish these stories and plays.

My first dream came true- I started my publishing house Panda Rose Publishing in February 2023! Now to start publishing books! I hope you enjoy getting to know me, and I really, really, hope you will buy my debut book, The Thing That Comes to the Basement, when it is released in August 2026!!!!!
